James received his Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University, with a major in Philosophy and a Certificate in Ethics, in 2010. He received his Juris Doctorate from Western New England University School of Law in 2013 and was admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that same year.
